Christopher Dowdy, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Christopher Dowdy attended Texas A&M
University, where he majored in biochemistry,
before receiving his M.D. from Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his
internship and his residency in obstetrics and
gynecology at Baylor, as well.
Dr. Dowdy has been a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1998, and he’s been a fellow of
the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2000. He is currently a member of the Texas Association
of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Texas Medical Association, and the Jefferson County Medical Association.
Dr. Dowdy grew up in La Marque, Texas, and is married to his high school sweetheart, Yolanda. They have two children. His
passions outside of the office include Aggie Athletics, Boy Scouts of America, the American Legion Texas Boys State
program, and golf.
